Rain:14 days and counting

Last night he told me it was almost depressing that I get more excited about food than him sometimes. I can't help it. I'm a 110 pounds and have a fast metabolism and when I don't get food for a while... well i get grumpy. Lets leave it at that.

How can there be so much h2o in the sky? I don't understand. Then again I don't understand much of anything slightly scientific. It's still raining. Drip drip drip drip drip. It's the most pathetic sound. At first it is a musical and beautiful thing, then I am simply happy for the ground; It needed some moisture after the hottest January ever. Now it is simply making me run up the walls. My wetsuit is hanging by the fire, completely dry due to the fact I refused to paddle out in the rain today. This morning it was pouring so hard I didn't even look at the clock, thinking maybe if I slept a little longer I could wake up to see the sun... Nope. So after doing my homework, cleaning my room (a very unusual thing), doing the dishes (once again rare), perfecting my new song on the piano (I suppose that is the one good thing from this wet stuff that keeps leaking from the sky. My new favorite thing is finding new songs and practicing), I decided I wanted to write. Simply write whatever was on my mind. I have had alot more time to think about nothing in particular since most of my normal activities require a somewhat clear atmosphere. Therfore I started this blog-thing-whater-you-call-it. Here it is, the product of 14 days of rian and still counting.....

  1. hey katie! this is amanda. i saw your blog and got excited!

well i found this really cool sight for piano sheet music, and thought you might want to have it. its called piano files. you have to create an account though. i didnt make a profile or anything. most people dont. you can trade music with people... so as you get music, you add it to your sight and then other people ask for it. it is pretty cool.
